Aldridge Pite, LLP in New York seeks a New York Evictions Attorney to manage eviction matters for the firm and its clients. Qualified candidates will be licensed in New York with a JD and strong research and drafting skills.

You will handle high-volume eviction filings, court appearances, and stay current on GCEL and Rent Stabilization laws, contributing to a collaborative, tech-driven practice and client-focused service.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Member of the New York State Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
• Minimum of one year of experience practicing law in New York.
• Eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title experience preferred, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate high-volume eviction caseloads, provide legal advice, conduct research, draft documents (complaints, motions, opposition, discovery requests/responses).
• Represent clients in court hearings; prior courtroom experience preferred.
• Stay current on eviction law changes and trends in New York, with preference for GCEL and Rent Stabilization law knowledge.
• Educate clients regarding eviction law changes and trends.
