Job summary

General Motors LLC seeks a New Model Launch Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain readiness for new vehicle launches at ~25 locations. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure parts, systems, capacity, and operating plans are prepared from program development through steady-state operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or new model launches.
• Experience leading product/vehicle launches in a complex supply chain.
• Experience with inventory planning, DRP/MRP, replenishment, network design.
• Proven ability to coach and develop talent.
• Proficiency in Excel, Access, and BI tools.
• Experience with enterprise supply chain systems and data-driven processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional launch teams from planning to post-launch stabilization.
• Develop and maintain integrated launch plans, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate launch requirements across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Aftersales, and partners.
• Identify and mitigate launch risks related to supply, capacity, and readiness.
• Lead problem-solving for supply chain issues with root-cause analysis and containment.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to launch team members and manage HRM activities.
