Job summary

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor International Corporation (MCO-I) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead New Units Business projects, including centrifugal compressors, turbines, and associated equipment.

You will manage from handover through manufacturing, packaging, delivery, and warranty transition, interfacing with MCO Japan and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, schedule, cost, and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in engineered equipment or related industries.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and contracts in project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned MCO-I projects from handover through manufacturing, packaging, shipment, commissioning support, and warranty transition.
• Serve as the primary customer interface for project scope and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional project teams across Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, Commercial, and Customer Service.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action registers, and execution plans; identify risks and drive recovery actions.
• Monitor activities to support contractual delivery commitments, including engineering, procurement, testing, and packaging.
• Lead customer and internal project meetings (kick-off, progress reviews, lessons learned).
• Manage project financial performance including revenue, cost, margin, cash flow, forecasts, and invoicing.
• Identify scope changes and commercial exposure; coordinate contract modifications and change orders.
• Coordinate and resolve technical, commercial, quality, schedule, supplier, and customer issues.
• Support documentation submittals and approvals in coordination with stakeholders.
• Provide routine project performance reporting to leadership and international teams.
• Promote compliance with Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Information Security requirements.
