Qualifications

• Active Texas law license in good standing
• Newly licensed attorney or attorney with limited post-licensure experience
• No prior attorney experience required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to travel throughout Texas for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other matters

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients directly and professionally
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Assist with case strategy and litigation preparation
• Prepare for hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
• Attend and participate in court proceedings, developing advocacy skills
• Work closely with experienced attorneys and mentors
• Learn how litigation moves from start to finish
• Take on increasing responsibility as skills grow
