You Passed the Bar.
Now You Need Someone to Give You a Real Chance.
You spent years getting through law school. You studied for the Bar. You passed.
Now comes the part nobody really prepares you for:
How do you actually become a lawyer?
At JW Zepeda Law Firm, we are looking for a newly licensed Texas attorney who is ready to learn, work hard, and grow into a confident litigator.
We are not looking for the person with the most perfect résumé.
We are not focused on class rank, law review, or whether you went to the "right" law school.
We are looking for potential. Someone who asks questions. Someone who takes feedback seriously. Someone who wants responsibility. Someone who is willing to be uncomfortable while they learn. Because that is how good lawyers are built.
You will not spend your first year sitting quietly in the background watching other attorneys practice law.
You will work on real cases.
You will talk to real clients. You will draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence. You will help prepare for hearings, mediations, depositions, negotiations, and trial.
You will have opportunities to go to court, develop your advocacy skills, and learn how litigation actually works from beginning to end.
And you not be expected to know everything on day one.
You will receive mentorship, training, guidance, and direct feedback from attorneys who understand that becoming a lawyer takes more than passing the Bar.
No Prior Attorney Experience Required.
What matters to us is your work ethic, judgment, attitude, accountability, and willingness to grow.
We are not looking for perfection. We are looking for potential.
If you recently passed the Texas Bar and are looking for a firm that will actually let learn by doing, we want to hear from you.
