Job summary

Catholic Charities seeks a proactive Residential Supervisor II to lead a group home team in Central Minnesota. The role focuses on building a compassionate, high-performing team that delivers person-centered care and maintains safety and quality in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience working with DDMI populations, with at least two years in a group residential setting.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a residential setting.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass driving record and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Direct Support Professionals through coaching, mentoring, meetings, and feedback.
  • Promote engagement, accountability, communication, and professional growth within the team.
  • Deliver hands-on care and oversee individualized support plans for health, safety, and quality of life.
  • Coordinate care with families, medical professionals, and community partners.
  • Manage operations including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and home maintenance.
  • Ensure documentation, medication administration, and client programming meet high standards.
  • Represent Catholic Charities to community stakeholders and partners.
  • Support ongoing operation of the home and guide transitions for staff, clients, families, and partners.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the Residential Supervisor II at a Group Home in Cold Spring. This position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the program, strengthen relationships within the community, and build a high-performing team dedicated to providing exceptional support and care.

The Residential Supervisor II will lead with heart, purpose, professionalism, and confidence while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and excellence.

As a Residential Supervisor II, this position will be the cornerstone of a caring, high-performing team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a team of Direct Support Professionals through coaching, mentoring, team meetings, and performance feedback.
  • Build and strengthen team culture by promoting engagement, accountability, communication, and professional growth.
  • Deliver hands‑on care to clients and oversee individualized support plans that ensure health, safety, well‑being, and quality of life.
  • Coordinate care with families, medical professionals, case managers, and community partners.
  • Manage operations including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and home maintenance.
  • Champion quality and safety by ensuring documentation, medication administration, and client programming meet the highest standards.
  • Serve as a representative of Catholic Charities by building positive relationships with community stakeholders and helping foster confidence in the valuable services provided through residential programs.
  • Support the ongoing operation of the home , helping employees, clients, families, and community partners navigate transition and change.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned leader who can build high-performing teams, foster a strong culture of accountability and support, and represent the organization with professionalism and confidence both internally and within the community.

The minimum requirements for this position include fiveyears of experience working with DDMI populations, at least two of which are in a group residential setting, and at least two years of supervisory experience in a residential setting. Candidates with extensive residential leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

In addition, the qualified candidate must possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass both a driving record check and background check.

  • Experience collaborating with families, community members, local stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, and decision‑making skills in complex situations.
  • Ability to establish trust, maintain positive relationships, and effectively represent the organization in the community.
