NYX Health Group is seeking an experienced Radiology Prior Authorization Specialist for a remote, full-time role in the United States. A minimum of 4+ years handling prior authorizations in EPIC is required to join our Prior Authorization Team.

You will verify insurance, submit and track authorizations, gather documentation, and communicate with payors and clinicians while ensuring HIPAA adherence in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Radiology prior authorization experience within EPIC.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in TEAMS.

Responsibilities

• Extensive hands-on proficiency in EPIC, including prior authorization and insurance verification.
• Extensive knowledge of Radiology PA management within a Hospital, including their authorization requirements, processes, and requirements.
• Proven experience navigating complex insurance authorization requirements for Ultrasound, MRI, CT, Nuclear Med and PET.
• Ability to independently manage prior authorizations from submission through approval.
• Communicate with providers and insurance companies regarding authorization status.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and support daily revenue cycle operations.

Radiology Prior Authorization Specialist – Remote Position – Full Time

Position Summary

We’re looking for an EXPERIENCED U.S. based Radiology Prior Authorization Specialist with extensive, hands‑on experience working prior authorizations in EPIC to join our Prior Authorization Team. EPIC proficiency 4+ years is required. This is not an entry‑level training position, and candidates who require basic training on EPIC will not be considered. You will be responsible for completing insurance verifications, submitting, and tracking prior authorizations, gathering required documentation, communicating with insurance payors and clinicians, and following authorizations through to approval while working within a dynamic team‑oriented atmosphere.

Job Type, Schedule & Compensation

Pay: $21–$23 per hour, [With additional pay available for exceptional experience.]

High performers will also be eligible for a performance bonus incentive.
