This NPI/NPD-focused engineering role involves guiding products from concept through development, validation, and full-scale production with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Background in Quality, Product Development, Design, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with FMEA, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings / GD&T
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new products from concept through production
• Evaluate designs for quality, risk, and manufacturability
• Lead DFMEA/PFMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective action
• Apply quality tools including SPC, Cpk, MSA, Control Plans, and DOE
• Provide technical feedback to Design and Engineering
• Support prototype testing, validation, and launch readiness
• Work with Manufacturing and suppliers to resolve production risks
• Manage multiple development projects and timelines

Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join a product development organization in Foothill Ranch. This is an NPI/NPD-focused engineering role where you’ll help take products from concept through development, validation, and full-scale production.

You’ll work closely with Product, Design Engineering, Project Engineering, Manufacturing, and global teams to identify risks early, improve product designs, and ensure new products can be manufactured consistently at scale.

This is not a traditional production quality role. You’ll have a direct influence on how products are designed, developed, and launched.

What You’ll Do

• Support new products from concept through production
• Evaluate designs for quality, risk, and manufacturability
• Lead DFMEA/PFMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective action
• Apply quality tools including SPC, Cpk, MSA, Control Plans, and DOE
