Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Endwell, NY to lead New Product Development efforts and drive hands-on design, prototyping, testing, and launches. You will manage a multidisciplinary team across design, development, and test engineering to deliver robust products.

You will guide projects from concept through validation and production release, mentor engineers, and coordinate with Operations, Quality, and Applications teams to optimize prototyping and development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
3+ years of product development engineering experience with hands-on prototyping.
Leadership or technical mentorship experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of design, development, and test engineers.
Lead new product development from concept through prototyping, validation, and production release.
Provide hands-on technical guidance in design, prototyping, testing, and design reviews.
Manage priorities and engineering resources across multiple development programs.
Partner with Operations, Quality, and Application Engineering to support product development and manufacturing transition.
Drive improvements to prototyping and product development processes.
