The New Patient Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking to establish care, ensuring a seamless and welcoming onboarding experience. This role is responsible for managing new patient scheduling, coordinating intake processes, and obtaining all necessary medical records prior to appointments. The coordinator works closely with clinical and administrative teams to optimize access, reduce scheduling delays, and ensure appropriate provider matching. Strong attention to detail is required to verify insurance, demographics, and referral requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent communication, organizational skills, and a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Performs both administrative and clinical functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations, under minimal supervision. Performs administrative duties related to patient visits including scheduling, check-in, check-out duties (performs all duties of the other levels at highest proficiency level).
