Job summary

Armed Forces Insurance in Leavenworth, KS is seeking a dynamic personal lines insurance professional to join our New Member Sales Team. You will help grow the book of business by selling Property and Casualty policies to new clients, using your relationship-building and communication skills.

Starting pay is $49,925 to $58,246 per year, with licensing cost covered and time for study. Up to 50% telecommuting after training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of direct customer service or relevant experience.
• Associate's Degree or BA/BS may be substituted for experience.
• Experience in insurance or financial industry preferred.
• Keyboard skills of at least 35 wpm.
• Competent written and excellent verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and the ability to work with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Expand the company's book of business by selling Property and Casualty policies to new clients.
• Build relationships with customers and communicate effectively to ensure satisfaction.
