Job summary

Teradata is seeking a New Logo Account Executive for Healthcare and Life Sciences to identify, develop, and close net-new opportunities. You will build executive relationships, articulate Teradata's data, analytics, and AI solutions, and drive strategic deals across healthcare payer/provider and life sciences organizations.

The role is hunter-focused, requiring strategic prospecting, pipeline development, and collaboration with Industry Experts, Solution Engineers, and partners to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IT, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Proven track record in quota-carrying new logo sales (cloud, data, analytics, AI, enterprise software).
• Experience closing net-new business in Healthcare & Life Sciences.
• Understanding of public sector processes, procurement cycles, and compliance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for exec, procurement, and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and acquire net-new healthcare customers in assigned territory.
• Develop account penetration strategies to expand Teradata footprint.
• Collaborate with IE, SE, ISR, and partners to design data and AI solutions.
• Develop strategic territory plans to hit new logo sales and revenue targets.
• Stay current on healthcare trends and translate into solutions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM and forecast revenue.
• Lead contract negotiations and align terms with policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide market intelligence to improve go-to-market for HCLS.
