Job summary

Coco in New Jersey is seeking a City Manager to own the operation end-to-end, overseeing fleet health, deployment zones, and merchant relations across the market. This hands-on role requires field time with restaurants, staff, and partners, plus strong accountability for performance metrics.

You will lead a local team, drive improvements, hit KPIs, and represent Coco in the community while coordinating with city officials and partners to expand the footprint responsibly.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on operations management in a physical-world setting.
• Proven track record managing a direct labor workforce, including hiring and scheduling.
• Metrics-driven with KPIs and a results-oriented mindset.
• Extreme attention to detail with processes to prevent recurrence.
• Strong relationship management with restaurant operators, platform partners, and city officials.
• Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours when the operation requires it.

Responsibilities

• Own city-level operations: manage day-to-day fleet health, deployment zones, and uptime across all active merchant locations in New Jersey.
• Drive merchant success: serve as primary point of contact for Coco's merchant partners, onboarding, incident resolution, and improving delivery experience.
• Manage the team: hire, train, schedule, and manage local operations staff including contractors.
• Report and improve: track city KPIs, surface insights to leadership, and drive continuous improvement.
• Represent Coco locally: be a visible presence in community meetings, with local press, and with city officials.
