ABOUT THE ROLE

Lois Law Firm is seeking a New Jersey-Barred Attorney to join our growing litigation practice, where you will defend some of America's most iconic employers in New Jersey workers' compensation actions. This role requires a willingness to stand up for your clients, to be an advocate, and to ensure a fair court process for all parties. You will have significant client contact and opportunities to present creative strategies in court.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualified applicant is aNew Jersey-Barred Attorneywith a passion for litigating and a desire to dominate a specialist niche.

• New Jersey bar in good standing is required.
• Litigation and trial experience preferred.
• 1-3 years experience with workers' compensation matters is preferred.
• Successful candidates must be ambitious and driven, possess a strong work ethic and have good interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

CLEAR COMPENSATION

At LOIS all attorneys have a base salary with clear fixed bonuses in place. We set an annual billable budget based on your preferences, beginning at 1,852 per year.

• Counsel clients on emerging issues in litigated matters;
• Prepare exposure analysis and conduct settlement negotiations;
