Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS America Inc. seeks a Solar Activation Specialist to lead activation and commissioning support for solar and battery systems in new home developments.

You will manage onsite activations and remote PV/battery activations, and report on field/dashboard performance to ensure homes are ready for PTO. The role blends field work (70%) with onsite duties (30%), requiring collaboration with Field and Project Managers, installers, and homeowners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years experience or associate with 8+ years, including 2+ years in solar.
• Strong computer skills, data entry, email, and CRM navigation.
• Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking across calls, emails, and CRM updates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer service experience or related client-facing role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage a schedule.
• Comfortable with high-volume customer engagement across channels; quality-focused.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive and process-driven.

Responsibilities

• Attend kickoff meetings and field operations coordination.
• Resolve commissioning issues with project and field managers and prevent activation delays.
• Coordinate with builders and installers to remove blockers.
• Guide installers and homeowners through commissioning sequences and troubleshooting.
• Travel as needed; optimize travel routes to maximize site-visit efficiency.
• Maintain activation dashboards in Salesforce and report on activation metrics.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain homeowner relationships.
