Job summary

QCELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks a Solar Activation Specialist to lead activation and commissioning support for solar and battery systems in new homes. You will manage onsite activations, remote PV/battery activations, and report on field dashboard performance, collaborating with the Field Manager to ensure PTO readiness.

The role is based in Irvine, CA or San Francisco, CA or Teaneck, NJ with a 70% field / 30% onsite schedule and potential remote work in exceptional cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of professional experience or Associate's with 8+ years, including 2+ years in solar.
• Strong computer skills including data entry, email, CRM navigation.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities; multitasking across channels.

Responsibilities

• Attend kickoff meetings and preconstruction walkthroughs for field operations.
• Coordinate with builders, installers, and internal teams to remove blockers during construction.
• Guide installers and homeowners through commissioning and activation sequences; troubleshoot as needed.
• Serve as technical SME on PV and ESS systems for field operations.
• Maintain activation dashboards and prepare field reports in Salesforce.
