The role involves helping buyers at the design studio, displaying samples professionally, and supporting model home operations, including light cleaning and decorating. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Windows and Macintosh operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Able to learn and quickly use new software applications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; 21+ to drive company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and communications surrounding home closings, including handling deposits and preparing contract documents
• Maintain the quick-move-in home list
• Manage the priority registration list for all neighborhoods
• Coordinate MLS listings and the SMH website
• Create digital buildouts in company systems
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer concerns
• Ensure design studio samples are accurate and well-displayed
• Assist buyers in the design studio for color selection
• Maintain refreshments for customers and staff at the model home
• Assist in light cleaning and decorating duties within model homes; ensure seasonal decor
• Serve as a substitute for the market coordinator as needed

Position Summary

The New Home Consultant serves as a support role to the sales team. The position assists the new home specialist in providing quality customer service to our home buyers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Assists in the coordination of activities and communications surrounding the home closing, such as handling deposit checks and preparing and delivering contract documents
• Maintains the quick-move-in home list
• Manages the priority registration list for all neighborhoods
• Coordinates listings on MLS and the SMH website
• Creates digital buildouts in company-provided technology system
• Collaborates with other departments within the company to resolve customer concerns or system issues
• Ensures design studio samples are accurate and professionally displayed
• Assists buyers in the design studio for their color selection process
• Maintains inventory of refreshments for customers and staff at the model home
• Assists in light cleaning and decorating duties within the model homes; ensuring porches and floors are swept and model home décor is seasonalized
• Serves as a substitute for the market coordinator, as needed

Qualifications And Skills

Work Environment And Physical Requirements

• Works in a temperature-controlled office environment, with medium noise levels
