Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a New Hire Trainer for our Harvest facility in Perry, Georgia, in the Sanitation Department. The role focuses on introducing new associates to safety practices, production knowledge, and job techniques, delivering hands-on coaching, and reinforcing safe and efficient work habits.

The position runs 2nd shift, 1:30pm-9:30pm, onsite at the Perry facility, with 6 months of training experience and at least 6 months with a single employer in a related field.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field.
• 6 months of training experience.
• Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Introduce associates to their jobs, including basic training, rotation procedures, safety work habits, donning and doffing procedures and clock-in and clock-out procedures.
• Maintain a skill level at or above the required certification level for all positions.
• Be able to perform a scrape test and evaluate new associates.
• Review performance with associates and advise of strengths and weaknesses.
• Forward documentation of all evaluations to Supervisor.
• Monitor associate's progress and report to supervisor on a daily basis.
• Facilitate incorporation of associate into work team.
