This role is for newly licensed registered nurses (less than six months of experience) participating in a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support their transition to professional practice.
Key responsibilities include performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
RN Residents provide patient and family-centered care tailored to individual needs and cultural diversity, collaborating effectively with patients and team members.
They will be supported by Unit Leaders, Educators, Preceptors, and Program Coordinators through system orientation, onboarding, specialty sessions, and monthly Nurse Residency Program activities.
Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing school, current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), and BLS certification.
All certifications are required upon hire.
