Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a planning-focused intern to assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for transportation projects. You will help develop maps, exhibits, and presentation materials while researching planning issues and contributing to urban solutions.

The role requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and familiarity with GIS and MS Office. Preference for a master’s in Urban Planning and prior internship experience. Located in multiple NTSC offices with internship structure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field.
• Ability to compile and summarize data (census, land use) with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Research and collect raw data; analyze and review data for projects.
• Assist in development of maps, exhibits, and reporting materials.
• Conduct research on planning issues and contribute to conceptual planning alternatives.
• Prepare plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Support stakeholder and public participation processes.
