Together AI in San Francisco is seeking an early career Software Engineer to design scalable systems, build product features, and optimize performance-critical code. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, user-focused solutions and contribute to our mission of cutting-edge technology.

This role is on-site at our HQ in San Francisco, joining engineering teams spanning Machine Learning, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Inference.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Solid CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and systems thinking.
• Hands-on experience via internships, personal projects, or prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software across the tech stack.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features.
• Take ownership of projects end to end with high autonomy.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Contribute ideas to shape product direction and infrastructure.
