Job summary

Stripe is seeking engineers who can move quickly on hard problems, building solutions with broad impact across a global base of customers. You’ll work on programmable financial infrastructure, collaborating with teams across products to deliver results in a fast-changing landscape.

Ideal candidates have strong programming fundamentals in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, or Go, excellent written communication, and the ability to learn new systems with mentorship and AI support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a directly related field, by summer 2027 or equivalent work experience
• New grad candidates should have no more than 18 months of professional experience (excluding internships)
• Experience programming through side projects or coursework in Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Scala, and Go
• Experience from internships or multi-person coding projects in university or professional settings
• Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and mentorship
• Clear written communication to stakeholders, teammates and leaders
