Job summary

Harvey, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer, New Grad to join our Engineering team. You will contribute production code across the stack, delivering AI-powered features for leading law firms and enterprises.

You'll collaborate across AI Research, Legal Engineering, Product, and Design, and you will engage in code reviews and architectural discussions early in your tenure. Relocation support is available, with offices in New York or San Francisco.

Qualifications

• CS/SE degree, expected Winter 2026–Spring 2027.
• Able to work from NY or SF office starting Jan 2027; relocation support available.
• Previous internship experience required.
• Strong programming fundamentals in Python, TS/JS, Java or Go.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship production-grade code across the stack with quality, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with AI Research, Legal Engineering, Product, and Design to translate problems into product experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions with senior engineers.
• Experiment with and evaluate cutting-edge LLMs and AI systems to evolve Harvey's platform.
• Work on retrieval over large document collections and enterprise AI interfaces.
