Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited RN education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Enrollment in Intermountain Nurse Residency program and progression toward RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the nursing process and how the plan of care is developed, implemented, and revised under direct supervision of an RN.
• Collects patient data (e.g., vital signs) and reports significant changes under the RN supervision.
• Assists with prioritization and modification of the interdisciplinary care plan.
• Monitors patient condition and contributes to nursing interventions under supervision.
• Participates in patient and family education needs as determined by assessments and requests.
• Maintains professional accountability and confidentiality while observing regulatory standards.
• Supports RN licensure goals and completes orientation and residency requirements.
