Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Nursing (RN) education program.
• Enrollment in the Intermountain Nurse Residency program and pursuing RN licensure.
• Willingness to participate in medication administration under supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of steps in the nursing process with supervision from an RN.
• Collects patient data (vital signs) and reports changes under RN supervision.
• Assists in planning by prioritizing patient needs with the RN and interdisciplinary team.
• Observes and supports implementation of the patient plan of care under supervision.
• Participates in patient/family education and documents care accurately with RN oversight.
