Job summary

Intermountain Health’s Nursing Residency program seeks a Nursing Graduate to work under direct supervision of an RN, supporting patient care and evolving toward RN licensure. This entry role is designed for up to 12 weeks within the Nurse Residency program, with pay scales for unlicensed and licensed entries.

Position is full-time (36 hours weekly), with variable shifts including weekends and holidays, plus on-call coverage during each 8-week cycle.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized and accredited RN education program. Education will be verified.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of an RN, assist in nursing process and care plan development, implementation and revision.
• Collect patient data (e.g., vital signs) and report changes under RN supervision.
• Documentations duties under RN supervision.
• Assist with prioritization of patient needs and interdisciplinary care planning under RN guidance.
• Observe and assist with implementation of patient care plans, considering individual patient needs under RN supervision.
