Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center invites new graduate nurses to join its RN Residency Program. This year-long program provides hands-on experience, expert nurse educators, and a supportive community to transition from student nurse to registered nurse.

You will engage in advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and evidence-based projects while delivering patient-centered care under the supervision of experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Other certifications may be required during employment.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
• No previous experience needed.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions as assigned.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical records.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality care.
