• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity, preference, and resources.
• Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Comply with established hospital/department personnel policies.
• Use communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes.
• Document in patient\'s medical record according to established guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About This Role

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.


• BSN preferred.

Experience:

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN).


• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.


• ACLS certification required if in a Critical Care area, to be obtained within the first year of employment.


• PALS certification required within one year for specific units, with exceptions noted for certain areas.
