Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse for the Complex Medical Care Unit at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH. This full-time day shift role offers a residency pathway to develop advanced nursing skills in adult and geriatric care.

Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure and BLS certification. New grads or those with less than one year of RN experience are welcome. Relocation assistance and loan repayment programs are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Float across all three units to gain diverse patient care experience.

About This Role
