Qualifications

• Current state RN licensure and BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS preferred upon hire or orientation.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout perioperative care.
• Implement, monitor, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patients’ conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate with care teams.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and aftercare.

About This Role

As an RN in the Surgery Center at Cleveland Clinic, you will provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, focusing on patient safety and high-quality outcomes. What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program)

Experience

• 1+ year of current acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• ACLS and PALS preferred upon hire or after orientation
