Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, OH is hiring for a New Grad RN Resident to deliver high-quality patient care in a surgical unit. You will work closely with a dedicated team and a dedicated success coach while completing a one-year residency.

Eligibility includes ADN/BSN graduation, RN licensure with BLS, and new graduate status or minimal inpatient experience. This role offers full-time day shifts with a structured residency program and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• New grad or less than one year RN work experience.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and BLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist caregivers in providing exceptional care from initial introduction to final send-off.
• Interact with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and available resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.
• Participate in residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
