Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a dedicated RN for the one-year Nurse Residency program. You will deliver direct patient care and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes.

The role offers hands-on experience in a busy cardiovascular and general care setting, with formal education tracks, mentoring, and professional development resources. Schedule includes days, with every other weekend and three observed holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification.
• New grad or <1 year RN experience in inpatient/acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and collaborate with care teams.
• Assist in care planning and prioritization of patient needs.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records.
• Respond promptly to patient safety risks and coordinate care.
