Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Telemetry 2 (Tele2) on our Telemetry Level 2 unit.

You will care for adult patients with acute cardiac and respiratory conditions requiring close monitoring, on a smaller, intimate unit that mirrors MPCU/CPCU expectations. The role provides a strong steppingstone toward stepdown or critical care with opportunities to build advanced telemetry skills, supported by a new nurse manager and collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as RN in hiring state or compact license.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Graduate from a School of Nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and clinical changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans.
• Manage patients with moderate to high acuity needs.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
