Valley Health System in Paramus, NJ, invites BSN new graduates (class of 2026) to apply to a spring 2027 RN Residency Program. The program begins March 2027 and requires a New Jersey RN license by two weeks before start.

The role is night shift after orientation and offers comprehensive benefits and a path to practice in geriatric, pulmonary, and cardiac care. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA, document GPA on resume, and include a cover letter with top two areas of interest.

Qualifications

• BSN degree, graduating in 2026.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0, GPA must be listed on resume and top two areas of interest in cover letter.
• New Jersey RN license required by two weeks before start; plan to take NCLEX in New Jersey if working there.
• BLS for healthcare provider certification current at start date (American Heart Association).
• No prior RN/LPN work experience; only new graduates or those with <6 months experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions in a NICHE geriatric/pulmonary unit.
• Deliver expert nursing care for COPD, pneumonia, heart failure, arrhythmias, and related conditions.
• Participate in night-shift orientation and transition to night shift within six months.
