Job summary

Prisma Health is offering a Nurse Residency Program at Greenville Memorial Hospital (Neuroscience Multispecialty) for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience. The program provides foundational and specialty training, clinical mentoring, and ongoing education under the Clinical Education Team.

Participants will complete core curriculum, clinical competencies, and professional development workshops to launch their nursing careers in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience: No previous experience required; candidates with >12 months not eligible.
• Licensure: Holds a current RN license (compact/multistate) or license in progress via Graduate Nurse status.

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data and completes required forms under the supervision of an RN.
• Develops a plan of care based on nursing process with patient/family involvement.
• Provides care adhering to standards; explains procedures and provides discharge teaching.
• Records care delivered and observations with rationale under supervision.
• Delegates nursing care under nursing process and documents staffing considerations.
• Graduate Nurse completes all clinical skills under direct supervision of a licensed RN.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
