Prisma Health’s Nurse Residency Program at Greer Memorial Hospital is designed to integrate new graduates and Graduate Nurses into professional nursing with structured competencies and clinical mentorship. Under supervision, you will refine nursing knowledge, participate in professional development, and complete required validations in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing and eligible for RN licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred for future advancement.
• Graduate Nurse licensure accepted with provisional status where applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collects patient data and completes required forms according to unit standards; identifies problems and sets priorities under RN supervision.
• Develops a plan of care with patient/family involvement and prior referrals as needed under RN supervision.
• Delivers care according to orders; explains procedures and provides discharge teaching under RN supervision.
• Records care and variations with rationale; monitors and documents patient responses and outcomes under RN supervision.
• Delegates nursing care to appropriate personnel; participates in quality improvement and staffing adjustments under RN supervision.
• Graduate Nurse completes all clinical skills under the supervision of a licensed RN; performs other duties as assigned.

Formation

Associate degree in Nursing
