Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
• New grad or less than one year RN work experience or transition from non-inpatient to acute inpatient care within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on nights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays.
• Participate in residency core curriculum with a dedicated success coach.
• Establish and revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preferences, and resources.
• Respond to signals indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when needed to maintain safety and quality.
• Document care accurately in patients’ medical records.
