Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care within the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, collaborating with the team to implement care plans and ensure safety and quality.

New graduates may participate in Nurse Residency, while experienced RNs bring clinical expertise and a commitment to professional standards. The position offers a rotating shift and full-time hours with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• All new graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are subject to participate in the Nurse Residency Program.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and professionalism in nursing within the ANCC Magnet framework.
• Assesses and evaluates patient care for an assigned group of patients, collaborates with patient and family to develop a care plan including physical, spiritual and educational components.
• Communicates pertinent information to team members in a timely manner and keeps patient/family updated.
• Documents assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately according to standards and guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.
