Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and ensure patient safety under Magnet Recognition guidelines.
• Assess and evaluate care for an assigned patient group; collaborate with patient/family on the plan of care.
• Communicate pertinent information to the team in a timely manner and keep patient/family updated.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately per standards.
• Assume responsibility for care provided and documented by others as needed.
