Cleveland Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, OH invites you to join our Magnet-recognized nursing team as an RN Resident in the Emergency Department. You will provide direct patient care with a success coach and participate in a one-year residency with nine tracks, online modules, simulations and hands-on training.

New grads or nurses with limited inpatient experience are welcome. The role includes night shifts 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
ACLS and PALS through AHA or Red Cross upon hire or within one year of hire.
New grad or less than one year RN work experience or moving from non-inpatient to acute direct care.

Responsabilités

Participate in residency core curriculum with individualized learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity and resources.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and take corrective action.
Seek supervision and assistance to maintain safety and quality care.
Document in patients’ medical records.
