Job summary

Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital is seeking a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for Progressive Care (Step down) to deliver high-quality nursing care. The role requires collaboration with Med-Surg and ICU teams, leadership in patient assessment, and developing care plans to improve outcomes while maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire; BLS/ACLS preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients.
• Assess patient status and develop care plans to improve outcomes.
• Serve as the service line between Med-Surg and ICU units.
• Determine priority of patient problems and needs.
• Administer medications safely and per policies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
