Qualifications

• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services
• BLS certification required, additional certifications may be needed by specialty

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ensures accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• May administer medications and therapies safely according to protocols and may float to other units as needed.
