Atrium Health Anson Emergency Department is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift. This full-time role requires applying evidence-based nursing care, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a Board-approved nursing education, an active RN license, and BLS certification, with 1 year of nursing experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing services.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area.
