Intermountain Health’s LDS Hospital is seeking a New Grad RN in Salt Lake City. The Nursing Graduate works under RN supervision, participating in patient care and may assist with medication administration under supervision. This role supports during the Nurse Residency program and aims for RN licensure.

New Grad RN positions start with supervised practice. Candidates must be enrolled in the Nurse Residency program and meet BLS requirements. 36 hours weekly, nights, with on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a recognized and accredited Nursing (RN) education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Physical requirements include lifting, standing, and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of the nursing process under direct supervision of an RN.
• Collects patient data (e.g., vital signs) under the direct supervision of the RN.
• Assists in planning patient care and prioritizing needs under RN supervision.
• Implements and monitors the patient plan of care with consideration of patient needs.
• Educates patients and families under RN guidance.
• Maintains accurate documentation and confidentiality.
