Job summary

Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME is seeking a Clinical Nurse for a 3, 12-hour night shift on P2C, a fast paced medical surgical telemetry unit. The unit focuses on neurological and vascular care, including stroke patients, with telemetry support throughout.

As a Clinical Nurse you will assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care in alignment with nursing standards and MMC policies, while supporting patient and family centered care and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred; not required for entry-level RN.
• Current Maine RN license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients and provide nursing care.
• Implement plan of care and document outcomes.
• Coordinate with care team and family.
• Participate in residency program for new graduates.
