Job summary

Maine Medical Center, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the R2 unit. This is a part-time night position on a 37-bed telemetry unit serving a diverse stroke patient population, requiring teamwork and strong nursing skills.

The role emphasizes assessment, planning, and coordination of care with a focus on evidence-based practice, family-centered care, and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Maine.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience with stroke patients and telemetry is preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Document care continuity and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with nurses, techs, CNAs and health care team.
