Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Clinical Nurse II for a part-time night shift on a 38-bed adult unit plus 6-bed intermediate care. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment, and coordination in a high-acuity setting for adults 18+.

Involves 2 x 12-hour shifts weekly with emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care. Requires RN licensure in Maine and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN preferred and ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and ongoing education required (10 hours/year).
• Current RN license in Maine state.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; telemetry, wound/burn, or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to apply nursing theory and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and outcome identification.
• Plan, implement, document, and evaluate nursing care per standards.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, or community settings.
