Johns Hopkins Health System seeks a part-time Med/Surg Float Pool RN to deliver high-quality care across adult inpatient units at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Float Pool RNs work in Medicine, Surgical Services, Oncology, and Neurosciences, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide flexible staffing and ongoing professional development on both campuses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered, provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire
• Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
• BLS CPR certification required
• No RN work experience required

Responsibilities

• Float to Med/Surg units at Johns Hopkins Hospital or Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
• Provide high-quality nursing care across adult inpatient units.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across both hospitals and participate in ongoing professional development.

In this role, RNs float to Med/Surg units at either Johns Hopkins Hospital or Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, providing seamless support wherever staffing and patient care needs are greatest. Salary Range:

Minimum $36.07/hour - Maximum $54.28/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
