Job summary

Fairview Health Services' Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN is seeking a new graduate RN to join the Emergency Department team. This 0.9 FTE position (72 hours every two weeks) offers exposure to a high-acuity, trauma-informed environment with a collaborative care team.

As an ED RN, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care across diverse age groups, coordinate with the health team and adhere to MN Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• MN RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required by end of orientation
• ENPC certification and TNCC within 1 year of hire
• BSN preferred; 1 year experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for safe, high-quality care
• Respond to emergent/high-acuity situations with professionalism
• Care for diverse patient population from newborns to older adults
• Follow nursing best practices and MN Nurse Practice Act

Education

MN Registered Nurse (RN) License

Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for Healthcare Providers

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
