Mercy is seeking an RN for the General Surgery 3W unit on the Mercy Hospital South campus in St. Louis. This full-time, night-shift role involves applying the nursing process to patient care on a General Surgery inpatient unit.

Ideal candidates include graduates of ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN programs with Missouri RN licensure or compact licensure. Hospital experience is preferred. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
